The Pendulum Dashboard gives you a clear starting point for managing your visit records. Whether you need to find a draft, download reports, check visit progress or create something new, the dashboard keeps the key tools in one place.
Filtering visits
Use the filter bar at the top of the page to narrow the visits shown on your dashboard. Any filters you apply will appear under the My Dashboard heading.
Your dashboard will show any visit that is accessible to you, as long as the correct filters are applied.
Tip: If you cannot find a visit, check your filters first. If your LA uses the Teams functionality in Pendulum, ask your administrator to check that you are in the correct user group.
Status lozenges
The visit status lozenges show how many visits have been returned by your current filters.
Click a lozenge to quickly filter the list by that status. For example, clicking Draft will update the visit list to show draft records only.
Viewing and managing visits
The dashboard displays a list of visit records based on your applied filters. You can use the options on each row to open, download or manage a visit.
School name
Opens the dashboard for that establishment. This takes you to the Nexus Summary tab for the school.
View
Opens the visit record. You can use this to review the visit or make changes.
Report
Downloads the visit as a single PDF.
Options icon
Opens additional options, such as deleting or recalling the visit.
Dashboard options
The top-right corner of the dashboard includes quick options for creating, importing, downloading and exporting visit records.
Useful Information
Shows key information about Pendulum, usually related to new features or changes that require your attention.
Blank Template
Allows you to create a new visit record using a previously downloaded Word template. For more information, see Importing a Visit using Microsoft Word.
Create New Record
Starts the process of creating a new visit record from scratch.
Download Reports
Downloads a ZIP file containing PDF versions of the visits returned by your current filters. This is useful when you need bulk copies of visit PDFs for a specific term, adviser or other criteria.
Export Excel
Exports core visit details for the records returned by your current filters.
Note: Download Reports and Export Excel both use the filters currently applied on the dashboard.
