The Analysis Dashboard in Pendulum helps you review key metrics from your visit data without needing to export information and create your own pivot tables.

It summarises information about visits, schools and advisers, with filters to help you narrow down the data shown.

Accessing the Analysis Dashboard

To open the Analysis Dashboard, go to Pendulum and click Analysis.

The filters at the top of the page work in the same way as the main Dashboard filters. Use these to refine the information shown. Any filters you apply will be displayed at the top of the page.

You can also create a new visit record from this page by clicking Create New Record.

Understanding the Analysis tabs

The Analysis page is split into three tabs:

Visits
View analysis based on visit records, including overdue visits, visit types and empty visit records.

Schools
View analysis based on schools in your LA, including schools with no visits and schools with incomplete visits.

Advisers
View analysis based on advisers in your LA, including advisers with no visits, average visit time and average admin time.

Visits tab

The Visits tab provides breakdowns based on the visits in your system.

This includes figures such as:

  • Overdue visits
  • Visit type breakdowns
  • Blank or unfilled visit reports
  • Visits marked as inaccurate

Important: The Inaccurate Visits filter shows any visit that has been marked as inaccurate at any time. The visit itself may now be finalised and correct.

Viewing the data behind a figure

You can click Show under a value to update the list at the bottom of the page. The list will show the records that make up that figure.

For example, clicking Show under Blank/unfilled Visit reports will update the list to show the matching visits.

To open a full visit record, click the three dots on the right-hand side of the row, then click View Visit.

You can also click an individual chart segment, or the chart legend, to drill further into that data.

Searching and exporting

To search for a specific school, start typing in the search bar at the top-right of the list.

To view the full school dashboard, click the school name.

Click Export Excel in the top-right corner to export the data from the page.

Note: The export will only include data based on the filters currently applied on the Analysis page.
